Professional Development

A strategic initiative of the Montgomery County Early Childhood Coalition is to provide professional development opportunities for early childhood educators in our community. We connect early learning educators seeking professional development with knowledgeable early learning experts who are passionate about helping you grow in your profession. Children in our community will also benefit from increased opportunities for success as educators provide new and valuable early learning experiences gained from professional development.

We will update this page often for upcoming professional development opportunities for early childhood educators, including workshops, webinars, conferences, and more. In the meantime, please check out these resources:

Do you need a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, CDA renewal, or in-service training?

Do you need help with any of the following areas?

  • Program Operations

  • Developmentally appropriate early childhood environments
  • High-quality Curriculum
  • Process Art
  • Director Onboarding
  • Professionalism

If you have specific training needs such as those listed above, please reach out to our Early Learning Director, Lisa Walter, to develop a plan.
