The 6th Annual Early Learning Expo was one for the books! This special event, hosted by the Montgomery County Community Foundation and the Montgomery County Early Childhood Coalition, brought together local early childhood programs for a morning of connection, inspiration, and celebration.
Nearly 60 educators joined us at New Hope Christian Preschool last Saturday. This year’s theme, “Roots & Wings: Nature-Based Learning in Early Childhood Education,” encouraged participants to explore the many ways nature can inspire curiosity and creativity in young children.
The Expo also provides valuable professional development hours, resources, and hands-on training to support the important work happening throughout Montgomery County. Attendees went home with new toys and materials to bring nature-based learning into their classrooms. They also enjoyed a great breakfast from the Juniper Spoon and raffle prizes from Lakeshore Learning.
We are proud to host this annual gathering to show our local early childhood educators how valued they are in the community. We send a big thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this another great event! See more photos from the Early Learning Expo here
